Artist to Watch: Tom Cooper

My latest Artist to Watch is singer, songwriter Tom Cooper. Now, not much is known about him at the moment. However, I came across one of his reels a couple of months ago, and his voice really drew me in. At the time he had less than 2,000 followers of IG (this was in March). Fast forward to present day, he now has over 100,000!!

During this time, he was using his socials to promote his upcoming single which is officially out now, called 'Goner'. The song is a great showcase of his strong, gritty vocals that have created such a buzz online. The song is produced by Eddie Allen, who just happened to have produced songs for my previous Artist to Watch, Mulaa Jones.

When trying to find out more about Tom, it seems he has released music before, but they have now been taken off Spotify for some reason. For this release though, he is working with AWAL, allowing more control and ownership than a traditional release backed by a major label. A smart move. With such an upstream in social media followers and engagement in such a short space of time, 2025 could really be a big year for Tom Cooper.
